Sarah Landenwich is a writer and educator who has loved stories from the time she was a young child. As a kid, she was the girl with a book in her hand and five more in her backpack. She received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English with the goal of becoming a literature professor, then realized that what she truly wanted to do was not analyze other people’s books, but write her own. A classically-trained pianist, The Fire Concerto was inspired by her years-long obsession with music of the Romantic period. She currently lives in Kentucky with her family, and tells a story to her daughter every night.
